The First Ever Gem Pack!
The brand-new Pokémon TCG Gem Pack, released on January 17, 2025, highlights Pokémon from the Paldea region debuting in China for the first time. Each booster of The Pokemon TCG Gem Pack contains four cards, with every single one of them being holo—a very unique trait.
The four poster Pokémon of the set are Pikachu along with the Paldean starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. There are nine variants of each of these Pokémon, a record for the most copies of a single Pokémon in a single set!
The catch cards from the set tie in to the brand-new Pokémon Horizons: The Series, with cards featuring crossovers from the anime show's favorite characters. We have Captain Pikachu with Friede, Sprigatito with Liko, Fuecoco with Roy, and Quaxly with Dot. It is very rare that we get crossovers like this, and these cards will be very difficult to get hold of, but a full set of all four will look incredible in a binder together.
Variants upon Variants
There are eight more copies of each of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Pikachu (including six other Captain Pikachu cards). But there are also a variety of other Pokémon featured in the set too (with multiple variants of them available). We have Floragato, Crocalor, Quaxwell, Vulpix, Pawmo, Fidough, Sudowoodo, Rockruff, Paldean Wooper, Maschiff, Chansey, and Lechonk. These are some of the most popular Pokémon from the Paldea region plus some fan favorites like Vulpix, Rockruff, and Chansey.
These Pokémon also come in shiny forms, along with a version with its type stamped on the card, another with a Poke Ball stamp, a Master Ball version, a glitter foil version, and a prismatic foil version. So there is a huge number of versions to collect!
